What is a virtual fun run?
A virtual fun run (or walk) is an event that can be completed from absolutely any location you choose, indoors or outdoors! You can run or walk at your own pace, whenever you like, whenever you like over the two-week event: 23 July -6 August 2023.
When do I run?
This year, the choice is yours over the two-week event: 23 July – 6 August 2023.
Can’t make the Main Event, now you’ve got a full two weeks to run for research!
Where do I run?
You can choose to run (or walk) your distance anywhere, indoors on a treadmill or outdoors around your neighborhood, around your local park, or wherever!
If you’re looking for a little inspiration, however, head to Limestone and Queen Parks in Ipswich – our Main Event course is permanently sign-posted.
What distances can I run?
Choose a distance that’s right for you!
- 2.5km
- 5km
- 10km
- Half Marathon (21km)
How much is registration?
Registration ($30.00) includes:
- Entry into any of our Virtual Events
- Official Park2Park Cap or Visor
- Finisher’s Medal
- Downloadable Race Bib
Donations are optional
How do I get my Cap & Medal?
When participating in our Virtual Event, your Cap/Visor and Medal will come in your Event Kit.
Event Kits will be posted after the Virtual Event period (23 July – 6 August 2023).
How do I track my run?

But tracking your run is not compulsory.
Do I receive a Race Bib?
There is no need for an official race bib for timing purposes, however a novelty bib can be downloaded here and printed at home to wear for fun on your virtual walk or run.
Does Park2Park Virtual Count towards the 10-year Club?
Yes, it sure does! Consider Park2Park Virtual like any other year. If you think you qualify for the 10-year Club, send us a message on our Contact Us page.
