The main event of Park2Park is on Sunday 30 July, but the virtual event runs from 22 July to 5 August 2023.
Where is Park2Park held?
The main event will be held on the Bill Paterson Oval, Limestone Park. The virtual event can be run anywhere, anytime!
How much does Park2Park cost?
Park2Park pricing varies depending on the course that you choose to participate in. Prices range from FREE for the Mascot Marathon, to $180 for a Marathon Relay! See specific pricing information on this page.
How do I fundraise for Park2Park?
Once you’ve signed up as an individual, team, family or mascot, you will be able to make a page on our fundraising portal and start your fundraising journey!

Race Kit
Where can I collect my race kit & cap?
Race kit & caps will be available for collection on Saturday 29 July or Sunday 30 July at the registration desk at Limestone Park
Can I collect race kits for other participants?
Yes, however you will require a copy of their e-ticket to be able to collect on their behalf
Can I have my race kit & cap posted to me?
Main Event:
Yes, participants who register before midnight Sunday 9 July, will be sent out via postage and postage has been included in the ticket price.
On the Day
Is there a baggage storage area?
Clothing items/belongings (no valuables) can be left in the baggage area which is located in the Athletics Building at the car park end of the Bill Paterson Oval. To drop off your baggage be wearing your race bib as this will act as your identification. On collection of your baggage you will need to supply the attendant with your bib number.
Event Day - Will there be aid/water stations along the course?
Yes, the Ipswich Hospital Foundation Park2Park prides itself on providing water stations every 1KM in all events. The water stations are manned by local secondary schools. Only water will be provided at water stations. Water and fruit will be provided at the finish area.

Are there any toilets located along the course?
Toilets are located along the Ipswich Hospital Foundation Park2Park course at the 2KM, 3KM & 4.5KM points. Toilets are also located in the carpark of the Bill Paterson Oval, behind the blue building at the carpark end of Bill Paterson Oval & next to the cricket pitch.
Can I push my baby/small child in a pram whilst I am participating?
Yes, prams are permitted in the 5KM Run, 5KM Walk and 2.5KM events but must start at the back behind all other participants.
Can I run/walk with my dog?
Dogs are not permitted to participate in the Ipswich Hospital Foundation Park2Park. Service dogs permitted.
Can I have someone ride along me while I run or walk?
No, due to the narrowness of the course and the large numbers of participation, cyclists are not permitted.
Can I walk in the Half Marathon/10KM
Yes, walking is permitted in the half marathon/10KM. Please be aware of the cut of times. Road closures are only in place until 10am.
Virtual Event
What is a virtual fun run?
A virtual fun run (or walk) is an event that can be completed from absolutely any location you choose, indoors or outdoors! You can run or walk at your own pace, whenever you like, whenever you like over the two-week event: 23 July until 6 August.
Do Virtual Events count towards the 10-year club?
Yes, it sure does! Consider Virtual Ipswich Hospital Foundation Park2Park Events like any other event. If you think you qualify for the 10-year Club, send us a message on our Contact Us page.

Which 5KM event should I enter if I plan to run and walk?
The 5KM Run event.
Are the courses certified?
Yes, all Ipswich Hospital Foundation Park2Park courses are certified by IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) and AA (Athletics Australia) except for the 2.5KM, Family Challenge and Virtual Events.
Can I change events?
Yes! Follow the link found in your confirmation email to change your event. A fee difference will be required if changing to a higher event. No refunds will be given for changing to a lower fee event, the difference will be kept as an administration fee.

Do I have to register my baby/small child who will be in a pram?
You do not have to register any small children who will be pushed in a pram. All children who will be running or walking in the event regardless of their age must be registered.
When will my results be available?
Results will be available as soon as possible after the completion of the event. Stay tuned to this website for the results link.

Can I get a refund?
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are non refundable for change of mind.
If you wish to transfer to a shorter distance, follow the link found in your confirmation email to change your event.
